We recently completed a vintage-inspired bathroom remodel in Hyde Park. Working within a compact footprint, we removed everything except the original 1920s tile flooring, which we were excited to preserve as a defining historic feature. The space now includes a new shower/tub combination with a recessed shower curtain track, helping to create a cleaner and more open feel.

PKA designed a custom millwork vanity tailored to the layout and storage needs of the room, which was then crafted locally by a skilled woodworker. New finishes were thoughtfully selected to complement the existing tile pattern and color palette, blending old and new in a cohesive and timeless way.
